OddStockTrader Scan 8/6/2020

by | Aug 5, 2020

Rough day until those AAL options made sense mid day. I would have never paid so much to options scanner but this market can telegraph trades like crazy. Having that screener pays for itself time and time again. Markets tend to tell you a story with limited information, sometimes you got to piece that into your own risk and thesis and just go with it. Let the stocks do the heavy lifting. Anyways, great end to the day and here is tomorrow.

GSX – Might not be tomorrow but we are close to a $5-10 washout move here. It’s PURE short covering right now. Looking for that parabolic move, fade, retest and fail to really hammer into the short.

OSTK – Similar idea as above. Unreal move and looking to lean on this one as well. It may need $105s but it’s a main watch for rest of week and next week.

BA – Lot of $180 and $185 friday calls hit today. Something feels weird to me but the trade is worth my risk. Will look to scoop stock long sub $174s with $170 risk.

AAL – KILLLLER trade here today. Super early on this and DAL as I saw the options flow giving away what ended up being big news. Likely gap and run on these.

DAL – Same as above. Gap and run into $38.20s for possible short.

MIK – Lovely daily, have some calls here. Will join the stock each day and esp tomorrow if we get a volume breakout over $8.10s

CCL – They cancelled all cruises till Nov 1 now. I am getting more and more bullish on longer dated options the closer we get to a double bottom on these. It will all be about timing and then letting the names work. Anways, tomorrow these may all pop just because of the airlines. Watching that $14.50 breakout.

VYST – Old penny name back on highs. Will join this one with size over .0725s and risk on .06s
