Video Scan: Themes, Setups, and Concepts for 2024

by | Jun 30, 2024

Welcome back to another Sunday Scan.

We have a slightly different format today, with Chris out of town for a wedding.

We are going to discuss a few timeless trading concepts, a few trade setups that are working, and a few key themes and trends for 2024.

This week’s Sunday Scan will give you some of the tools and resources you need to make the most of all Sunday Scans. We will also cover a few stocks that the IU team is watching next week.

Here is some of what we discussed:

  1. Curating a watchlist for YOU. Focus on categorizing what you like to trade and then narrowing down the stocks that are in play to things that fit your style. Large caps or small? Long or short? Trends or reversals? Get ideas from lots of places and then focus in on things that work well for you specifically.
  2. Understanding the life cycle of the trade setups that you take. Why do they work? Who is in the trades and what is their plan?
  3. Taking the path of least resistance. Trades that are trying to happen naturally, not forced choppy trades.

Make sure to watch the full video to see the top themes and trade setups this year!
