Watchlist for 8/11/23 From Ed

Happy Friday, going to be a light day for me as we are prepping for a weeklong vacation in the Pocono Mountains starting this weekend. Been a solid week so far in the challenge account, looks like there’s enough moving this morning to finish strong.

MULN what an absolute dumpster fire this company is. This must be the third or fourth reverse split they’ve done and this time they can’t even keep it over $1. It might trade a little better with 1/9 the shares out there and I love this price range where it is currently in the high 0.90s. Hopefully it hangs around here for the day, but even if not it will very likely be under 0.50 again in the next month. Will be looking for dip buys into panic.

PTRA don’t like this price range much, but it was just trading well above a dollar 3 days ago and has plenty of room for a bounce if it can push through the relentless selling pressure of the last couple days.

GRTX got crushed yesterday and actually bounced a bit unlike some of these other biotechs that just die and never bounce. I’ll be looking for a continued bounce out of this one today as it also has a massive gap down to fill if it can find the buyers.

CANO is gapping down big on going concern warning in their Q2 earnings. I traded this one a bit when it was under a buck for a few days earlier this year. One of those ones that consolidated into a tight range and then had an explosive move out of that range. We’ll see if it trades that way again today, I’ll try to get on the right side of a couple of those moves. Not something I’ll be trading heavily.

NKTR I have a feeling this one just hangs around near a buck again and maybe even finishes red today and then gaps up like 40% on Monday morning. All morning dips have been absorbed so I think there’s probably a push higher whether it is today or next week. Will be watching closely for dip buys.

SNCE is a tricky one, wide spreads and very choppy at times. I’ve had a few good longs on it but odds are today is the end of this run. Will be watching for any panics for dip buys or possibly anticipate a breakout but won’t chase into strength.
