Back to the screens!
I will tell you, I am VERY happy with my Intel NUC pick-up. Typically I have had a full setup in the past at each spot I trade, but given that two of them are rentals, it’s a pain in the ass to set it up and take it down. So, now I just need the same keyboard, mouse, monitors, and literally plug and play and good to go. The NUC Is the size of my hand. I will do the same at the lake etc, and just carry the NUC around with me so that I don’t need to set up the platform or screens each time. I would HIGHLY recommend it if you trade mobile a lot. They have a new version called Wall Street which is what I got.
Been 7 years that I’ve promised I’ll take the week after the first hour of trading, and I just never seem to be able to do it. I did it this year, so I’m pretty pumped about that.
Trade to live OR live to trade? What’s your goal?
I hope everyone had a fantastic week the market just keeps absorbing weakness and heading right back up to highs. Shorts are in a pretty decent bind in my opinion.
Should continue to be a great market.
My goal is going to be to continue what I do every day 850AM broadcast, and if it’s been as spot on as the last few weeks, I will continue to try to break the habit of hitting more buttons and really focusing on creating IU 2.0 which I hinted at last week.
Those who are members and watched Max’s interview got a small glimpse but it’s only going to get even better. I have some solid ideas for new features that are underway, and I think you’re going to love them.
And content creation is going to begin.
The study sessions have been a hit – lots of members are taking advantage of them. Those that don’t are the same members having the same troubles repeating the same mistakes, which, as we know — doing the same thing over and over expecting different results is ……. the definition of insanity. So, tell me – are you insane? Or not 🙂
Housekeeping – I owe a few shirts I forgot to put on the blog last week! Don’t worry I never forget when I screw up.

Thank you Nate. Explanations are always helpful. For future video perhaps explain what staying heavy is, if you’re able to anticipate the flush , and for the things mentioned how does volume and price action look like when these are going to happen, when they are happening. Thanks in advance!!!

Hey Nate, here’s a question: Do you think A plus setups have a higher or lower chance of staying heavy after failing support for the first time during a morning run? They are more extended, but I feel like when I’m excited for it, so is everyone else and it’s more likely to trap and keep going, whereas a less crowded, less ideal daily extension seems to fail cleaner but have less range/volume. Example, IONQ last Friday recovering at 9:50 got me. Turned into a beautiful fail of the 14.3s later, but just seemed like it held up longer than previous times I’ve traded it less extended. What are your thoughts?

Nate, for the liquidity trap setup how many days does it has to hold before you consider it a fail. Also which one is more likely to become a liquidity trap, a 1st day with strong run or a 1st red fade day; both has strong vol.

My question: after blowing up 3 big accounts and coming back now, 1 year later with a modest 5k account, what would you do/focus on to grow it?

When exactly to cut losers on the short side? When to know it isn’t breaking down anymore? I would really appreciate if you cover that topic

Hi Nate, can u cover how you know when a stock is crowded short on the intraday basis since short interest data only comes out twice a month? Thanks for you help and have a great weekend!

Your great at predicting ranges, hitting MULN perfect at .26 HOD from 7/7 scan. Any tips on how to come up with ranges? Thanks!

!! Next Sunday Traders4ACause Tickets Go On Sale !!
Traders want access, traders want to know how to connect with peers who can help them better themselves and excel – the BEST way is to SHOW UP. Sometimes life is about taking risks. I don’t think one person regrets showing up to Traders4ACause. It’s all about networking. People are going to bend over backward for those who they’ve met that are treating trading as a business and not a hobby. There isn’t one right way to trade – being in the room with highly successful individuals allows you to sample a bit of all and finetune your style to what works with your own personality.
Traders4ACause is ALL about collapsing that learning curve.
There is a reason why we typically sell out in 24-48 hours. Besides the limited tickets to keep it as intimate as we can. The demand is always massive. We aim to beat the prior year each and every year. Last year we introduced the poker tournament. I don’t even really know how to play, but every time the blinds go up and you swap a table, you’re meeting 9 other new traders.
July 4th sales end tomorrow. Make sure to check them out if you want to join us in IU this week.
Video Scan and Game Plan
Stocks to Watch
CSTL nice runner on Friday – gave a great opportunity off open prior to 10AM before grinding all day. Looking either for a weak open and ABCD set up just shy of red/green for the push or gap up $1-2 and fade back to flat.
RIVN reactive trade again – big opp off open and again late day but if you’re trying to “let it work” in an uptrend you’re asking for it. Reactive trade move in move out move on. Ideally gap up para for fade or weak open flush for rally would be two trades I’m prepared for. If a weak open rejects r/g then looking to trade failed follow through set up.
CCL decent save after the big pull – reactive trade or 945-10AM+
Failed Follow Through:
GRRR reactive trade vs. $5 is ideal – watch for another clear out move of anyone who held it over and then exhaustion move.
AI higher better for back side.
MARA RIOT daily watches – doesn’t mean short just looking for opportunity with BTC
BTAI higher better for back side.
Continuation:
CVNA weak open maybe $30-35 + squeeze or higher this is really looking like shorts are buried.
TMC nice idea so far continued break out
KSCP dips soaked watch all dips if wicks continue big picture idea
VRM we’ve had on watch for big picture swing for a few weeks now – hasn’t stopped.
IMNM notable wicks possible next move 20-30%+
APLD higher better for back side – price alerts so you don’t lose off radar the day it cracks – cautious with a bias never know could be like AMAM
AAOI same as APLD – price alerts so you don’t lose off radar the day it cracks – cautious with a bias never know could be like AMAM
