JSC Scan 6/8/20

by | Jun 7, 2020

LK- looking for accumulation here, idealy weak open 4.70-4.80 and fast reclaim more of a multiday move that im looking for. Huge parabolic so far want to see if it can hold key levels

W- !74 risk for a short play

BBBY- huge move here :), going to look weak opens for continuation, BUT i would like to see this name hang over 9.20-9.50 this week for the next leg, just moved 50% fast, if pulls in a bit im ok with that.

BA- what a move here, that was a fast 150-215+, still looking weak open vs 195-7 for long until trend change, as you can see if you are fighting trends in this market, well lets just say it doesn’t pay well, and in general it doesn’t pay well, thats why you will see in many of my scans im looking to buy momentum along a trend, keep doing it until it doesn’t work

ECOR- like this Nate idea for gapper but hopefully gap and go towards 2

ZI- brand new ipo looking weak open on 36.50 for long

OAS- see what prices we have in am, but weak open move towards 1.75 is what im looking for, sector them here will post other possible trends below

CHK-

WLL-

CRC-

HOME- ideally 7.50-8 blowoff for a short

  2. Good stuff Josh! No denying the accumulation volume in LK last week but any fears of getting long/holding an admitted fraud overnight? Is your thinking that de-listing wont happen for a while? Not sure if/when LK requested an appeal to Nasdaq but I believe a judgement comes 30-45 days after appeal.

  3. Took long positions in OAS, RIG, and WLL, as sector sympathy plays, for over weekend holds, looking for that gap up to sell right away Monday morning, but got a little nervous after hours Friday because they had already gapped up so much on Friday, and then sold.

For OAS, RIG, and WLL I saw they had
    -Very high volume
-Ended the day very strong, near the HOD price
-The 1Y:1D chart had a strong green candle

How would you recommend getting in the trades at a price you want, even when the spread is so large? And also what exactly do you look for when holding long, “in play” stocks overnight?
    Thank you! 🙂
