OddStockTrader Scan 1/29/2020

by | Jan 28, 2020

Nice day overall for me but had a few slip ups. Jetted out early today for a long needed Massage. Either way, we had a very very calm Virus day out there. This was a reason for me started back in some swings on the name. Looking after hours looks like we got the bottom on each one APT especially. Here is my big list for tomorrow

APT – Nice scoops. Will use this as a VIX style trade. These tend to only be uptrending if there is a steady fear during the day. There was ZERO today, no headline that would spook anyone but after hours WH possibility of stopping all fights there woke it up. Will trade it hard on reactionary news tomorrow. Have a feeling we get some more.

LOPE – Citron nailed this one today. Will watch for further unwind confirmation as that tends to lead to the monster moves.

SQ – Huge win for me last few days. Calls have been on FIRE and huge relative market strength since new patent the other day. Ideally lock some in over $76s

CPHI – Will monitor, got stopped on the trade I had on this today but will NOT let that .50 breakout be ignored on sustained volume.

CGC – New Mexico bill news might be whats moving these hard today.  Reactive trade tomorrow for me but ideally $25s

CRON – Nice close today here. Morning weakness for adds.

CBDS –  Impressive since on scan a few weeks ago! I didn’t keep this one but will trade it tomorrow on that 1.25 breakout and base.

CNBX – Nice ramp today and followed CBDS move. Weak open for adds.

NUGS – Been trying to stay super patent with this swing from the .03s. It over 3x as of now but plan was to swing for a while if that .05 breakout held. Here we are and tomorrow would get fun with .10 breakout and volume.

  1. yeah quiet flu day. when something breaks out with no resistance above it, its a blue sky B/O what do you call it when it breaks down with no support like LOPE a blackhole breakdown, only one spike below it…all uncharted territory, pretty scary if your a long term investor. Aloha and thanks for the insights
